Intro to Fusing & Slumping - 4-Week Class - January/February 2026

No experience necessary, this is a beginner class!

In this class, students will learn the basics of fusing glass together in a kiln and slumping it in molds to achieve various shapes. Instruction includes cutting glass, cutting circles, how a design can be realized with the use of different forms of glass, understanding the firing of a kiln and other cool techniques.

Students will design and complete 4 projects using Bullseye glass:  a sampler tile, a 6" square plate, a night light or sun dangle, and the last project will be selectable by each student.

For the first week's "sampler" project, we'll provide all tools & materials. For weeks 2, 3, & 4 students can expect to spend approximately $100-$200 for glass & a glass cutter for the 3 remaining projects (all other tools are included for the duration of the class!).

Important: Closed-toe shoes are required for participation in all classes. Participants may be asked to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability upon arrival.
