Blue Moon is Moving!

For over 23+ years, Jim and Rose Berry have poured their hearts into Blue Moon Glassworks, building a cherished stained glass shop in Austin and guiding countless glass artists on their creative journeys.
This shop has been more than just a business—it’s been a place where people connect, create, and find inspiration. Now, as Jim and Rose retire, they’re passing this legacy on to Kristi Colby and Lindsay Foxx, who have both been deeply committed to Blue Moon as long-time team members.
Due to redevelopment in historic Hyde Park, we must move from our current location of 18 years. We’re relocating just 4 miles north, to 2139 Anderson Lane, where we’ll continue the Berry's vision. This transition is both exciting and challenging, and we appreciate our beloved community for their immense support as we prepare for this big move.
Ways to Help:
- Volunteer Your Time: From December 29th to January 6th, we will be CLOSED for the move, and we’ll need all hands on deck!
- We’re looking for volunteers to help us pack, transport, and set up in our new location.
- We also need assistance with building workbenches, constructing wooden storage bins, for classes, and painting the workshop to make our new space functional and inspiring.
- Please call our shop or CLICK HERE to sign up for a volunteer shift.
- Donate to Our Crowdfunding Effort: We've set up a GoFundMe page for those who expressed that they'd like to help but are unable to stop into the shop. Donations will go towards covering relocation expenses, setting up our new workspaces & classrooms, and making the new shop functional and inspirational. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and goes directly towards building the future of Blue Moon Glassworks.
- Spread the Word: Let others in the Austin community know about our move! Sharing this page and encouraging others to get involved will help us reach a larger audience and secure the support we need to thrive in our new location.
With your help—whether it’s volunteering, taking a class, donating, shopping, or simply sharing our story—we can continue Jim and Rose’s dream of creating a beautiful, welcoming space for artists in Austin.
We’re beyond grateful to be part of such a supportive and inspiring community, and we look forward to preserving Blue Moon’s legacy together with all of you!
With LOVE,
Kristi Colby & Lindsay Foxx
