Instructor: Lindsay
Date: Sunday, October 12th
Time: 12:00pm - 2:30pm
New class! Sugar skulls are made for Day of the Dead celebrations that represent the sweetness of life and the sadness of death. They are very colorful and festive, and fun to make out of glass as well as sugar!
In this 2 1/2 hour beginner fusing class, you will get to make a sugar skull on a pre-cut white glass base and decorate with glass embellishments and even paint. There will be template (about 5”x 6 1/2”) sent via email after sign-up so that you can start designing at home before the class. Pinterest can be very helpful, just search for ”sugar skulls" or "Día de Muertos skulls" for inspiration on these thousands of years old motifs!
No experience is required, but some cutting experience might help with some of your design ideas. All materials provided.
